Hi, excellent review, my feelings are the same, tried Xfburn in Xfce 4.2 or 4.4 and didn’t liked it. Now it is much more powerful and easier to use.

Two things: How to grab iso or copy a disc?
I cannot see the option on image xfburn09.png in Thunar, although I can see xfburn10.png. And when opening iso in Xfburn, it won’t let me burn it, it will just open as if launched from menu. But it should work as a Custom action (xfburn --burn-image %f).

BTW Please delete my first comment, I haven't read it before posting :)

Ubuntu and Linux are new to me, so I hope you will have patience on me as a novice. My ONLY experience in using a CD burning program is Nero, which I really like. I downloaded XFBurn and it looks simple to use, but I don't see any option to make an MP3 disc, or a multisession disc, which is painfully easy in Nero. I went online to see if I could find a manual to help, but no luck. The reason that I am no longer using windows is that I have been unemployed for over 2 years and can not afford the operating system, so buying a burning program is not an option for me. Thank you for your time and consideration. Judyk

When I started using Linux, GnomeBaker was the default in Ubuntu. after some time they moved to Brasero. For some reason in both cases I had many CDs destroyed when I tried to burn. I presumed that it was a general problem with Linux vs. my CD drive, and didn't try to fix it. Then I discovered Xfburn. It was not included in Xubuntu, so I installed it myself and found that it just works. Xfburn is at least as good as any other Xfce app, but for some reason it is not used in many Xfce based distros.
